President Donald J. Trump promised to make America safe again—and he is delivering on that promise.
In a stunning four-day operation, nearly 800 illegal immigrants were arrested across Florida. Dubbed Operation Tidal Wave, the sweep involved a first-ever joint effort between ICE, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, Border Czar Tom Homan, and local Florida law enforcement.
OPERATION TIDAL WAVE HITS FLORIDA HARD
“This is a warning to all criminal illegal aliens: we’re coming for you,” Secretary Noem declared on X.
The arrests included a convicted Colombian murderer, known MS-13 and 18th Street gang members, and a Russian fugitive with an Interpol Red Notice for manslaughter.
“This operation is about protecting American families,” Tom Homan said. “We are just getting started.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis praised the effort: “Florida is leading the nation in active cooperation with the Trump administration for immigration enforcement and deportation operations!”
President Trump’s leadership made it clear: No sanctuary for criminals. Not in Florida. Not in America.

ICE agents confirmed that many of the nearly 800 arrested weren’t just border-hoppers—they were dangerous felons.

Jose Sanchez Reyes, convicted of homicide in Colombia, was apprehended.

Rafael Juarez Cabrera, an alleged MS-13 gangbanger with multiple illegal reentries, is now in custody.

Aron Isaak Morazan-Izaguirre, linked to the violent 18th Street gang, was nabbed.

Savva Klishchevskii, wanted in Russia for vehicular manslaughter, was taken down.
“This isn’t immigration enforcement—this is law enforcement,” Homan emphasized.
In total, agents conducted operations across Florida’s urban and rural areas with extraordinary support from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
“This is the Trump Doctrine at work,” a senior DHS official said. “Prioritize American safety, enforce the law, and deport the dangerous.”
Florida is the pilot program for what President Trump plans to roll out nationwide.

Critics on the left are already melting down. Some activist groups complained about the lack of due process. But as Homan put it, “The Constitution protects Americans first.“
Noem was even more blunt: “Illegal criminals don’t have a right to be here. Period.”
Trump’s supporters cheered the news.
“This is how you save a country,” said a Florida voter. “By enforcing the law.”

Operation Tidal Wave is just the beginning.
