Richard A. Luthmann is the Editor-in-Chief of FL Gulf News and an investigative reporter focused on Florida courts, public corruption, First Amendment and media law, cancel culture, government accountability, and lawfare. A Columbia University graduate and University of Miami School of Law graduate, Luthmann uses his legal background and court-system experience to analyze public filings, expose institutional misconduct, and report on legal and political controversies involving courts, public officials, media platforms, and power structures.

Luthmann also publishes This is For Real, contributes to NY News Press, and co-hosts The Unknown Podcast with journalist Michael Volpe.
